Next Beginner Embroidery Workshop: Saturday 25 May 2024

Details:

Come and join me for a fun day of stitching!

10am - 3pm including half an hour for lunch (byo).

Beginner Embroidery Workshop details:

The cost for the is $85 and includes  a big pack of supplies including:

6 x DMC stranded cotton skeins
Embroidery Hoop
Needle
Water erasable pen
Linen square
Embroidery design
Full color stitch instructions to take home.

Beginners'  Workshop will cover:

At least eight (depending on how we go timewise) embroidery stitches
Starting and finishing your thread
Different types of stitching fabric
Stitching tips and tricks
How to transfer a pattern to fabric using several different methods
Hoop art – how to present your work

What to bring:

All you need to bring  is your lovely self, a byo lunch and a pair of small sharp scissors!.

A deposit of $65 is due on booking with the balance due on the day (deposit becomes non-refundable 4 weeks before the class commences).

Intermediate Workshop will cover:

We will cover 8 more advanced stitches and techniques, building on the basic stitches. You will need to know these in order to attend this class - back stitch, stem stitch, split stitch, chain stitch, satin stitch.
